Summary:The Lester Andrews Hubbard folklore collection is comprised of Hubbard's collected stories and folklore about Utah. Included are items on legendary characters, pioneer life, polygamy, Mormon-Indian relations, Indian legends and tales, songs and ballads, games, riddles, and customs. Some foreign folklore material is also included. Lester Hubbard (b. 1892) was a professor emeritus of the University of Utah English Department where he was a faculty member for thirty-two years.
