Summary:Ranging in date from 1848 to 1986, the Congregational Church Collection is an artificial collection of records from Congregational churches and related associations in Oregon. The bulk of the collection consists of printed material from various churches, notably the First Congregational Church of Portland and Oregon City's Atkinson Memorial Church. The collection also includes microfilmed records from the First Congregational Church of The Dalles. A limited amount of correspondence, financial records, meeting minutes, and assorted church records forms the remainder of the collection.

Mount Hyalite Chapter Records consist of positive photocopies from the chapter's minute book and typed speech transcriptions, along with a cassette recording of a speech delivered to the group in 1975. The collection includes: photocopies of a handwritten speech and its typed transcription, titled "Here I Stand" by Margaret P. Griffin, placed in the same folder as Griffin's remarks at the Sacagawea historical marker in Three Forks, 1920; the minutes for the meeting of January 20, 1949, summarizing the program delivered by Mary Hunter Doane entitled "Pioneer Days," and a transcription of the speech, which gives a general discussion of Bozeman's founding and the arrival of the Andrew Jackson Hunter family in 1864; a typed speech delivered by Charlotte Stafford Koch on April 15, 1955 regarding DAR historical markers; a typed speech of Mrs. Verne Sexton, delivered in 1960 titled "The First Settlers in the Gallatin and How They Came"; an audiocassette recording, a CD rom, and typed transcription of an untitled speech delivered by Dr. Richard Roeder to the chapter in 1975 regarding Gallatin County pioneers.

There are political files, including material for the 1948 and 1950 campaigns for governor and a file on the Eisenhower campaign of 1952. The files of the Secretary of the Interior consist of letters, a trip file, appointment books, and miscellaneous personal correspondence. There is a complete file of McKay's speeches when he was Secretary of the Interior. The records of the McKay-Morse campaign consist of correspondence, financial records, and campaign literature.
