Most materials date from the early 20th century and include newsletters, periodicals, programs for services, by-laws, ephemera, and a small amount of correspondence. Also included are scrapbooks related to the First Baptist Church of Portland, kept by Kate Failing.

Summary:Papers of the Creitz family of Portland, Oregon, including manuscripts, genealogical papers, and ephemera. Included are materials relating to the muscial activities of Louis Creitz and his son Albert, both concert violinists; the activities of Albert's wife Lenore Tamiesie Creitz, who was elected as Rose Festival Queen in Portland in 1929; and genealogical materials relating to the Creitz, Huber, Tamiesie, and Reiling families.

Includes papers relating to Bishops Thomas Fielding Scott, Benjamin Wistar Morris, Charles Scadding, and Walter Taylor Sumner; other clergy members; local churches; materials relating to Good Samaritan Hospital, Bishop Scott Academy, and St. Helens Hall, all of Portland; and records of the Women's Auxiliary. Much of the collection was assembled by Rev. Edward H. Clark. Also includes microfilm of church records for various Oregon parishes, including the Missionary Diocese of Eastern Oregon.

Summary:Papers of John and Olive (Southcott) Seiffert of San Francisco, California, and Portland Oregon. John Seiffert was active in theater groups in Portland and San Francisco in the 1920s and 1930s, and ran dancing schools in later years. The collection contains photographs, scrapbooks, personal documents, play scripts, original poetry, and ephemera.
