Materials include publications; personal and professional photographs; licenses, degrees, certificates, honors, and awards; correspondence; autobiographies of Greene and both of his wives, Jeanne Todd Booth and Julia Cooper; news clippings; and artifacts.

Summary:George A. Porter graduated in 1957 from the University of Oregon Medical School, was a Cardiology Fellow and Nephrology Fellow before becoming Professor Emeritus in the School of Medicine Nephrology Department at OHSU. His collection is composed of 83 slides with the common subject matter being historical images from the University of Oregon Medical School at 23rd and Lovejoy, the Marquam Hill Campus and of Howard P. Lewis, Chairman of Medicine at the University of Oregon Medical School from 1946-1971.

Summary:Kenneth C. Swan was a long-time Chief of Ophthalmology whose papers include article reprints, research materials, personal papers, departmental business matters, promotional ephemera and publications, lectures, and meeting notes. They cover not only his own research and inventions in ophthalmologic disease and surgery, but also the creation and expansion of the Casey Eye Institute in conjunction with the Oregon Elks Association.

Summary:The OHSU Strategic Communications office manages the media produced by and about the university, including major news stories and events. The department has held different names over the years, including University Relations and Public Affairs, University News and Publications, and the Communications Office. The collection, spanning 1960-2011, consists of a variety of non-print media formats created by the department, including audio cassettes, VHS and Beta cassettes, DVDs, CDs, reel to reel film, and 35 mm slides.
