Summary:The Bureau of Land Management Maps of Oregon consist of maps published by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) for the public as guides for outdoor recreation and maps prepared by the BLM for management of forest lands, primarily in western Oregon. The Bureau of Land Management was formed in 1946 by the merger of the General Land Office and the United States Grazing Service. BLM lands in Oregon are primarily forest lands in western Oregon and grazing and range lands in eastern Oregon.

Summary:The General County Highway Maps consist of highway maps of several Oregon counties prepared by the Oregon State Highway Department in cooperation with the U.S. Bureau of Public Roads. The maps also include detailed maps of key areas within the counties, such as towns and junctions. The maps provide information on roads, streams, buildings, cities, county population, local landmarks and other key features. The collection includes maps for Clatsop, Columbia, Coos, Curry, Douglas, Harney, Lane, Lincoln, Polk, Tillamook, and Yamhill Counties.

Summary:The Lehi F. Hintze Geological Reconnaissance Maps of Oregon consist of geologic maps prepared and assembled by Hintze for much of the state of Oregon. Lehi Ferdinand Hintze was a faculty member in the Oregon State College Geology Department from 1949 to 1955.

Summary:The Historic Oregon Topographic Maps consist of superceded or obsolete topographic maps published by the U.S. Geological Survey. The maps cover all of Oregon and are available in a variety of scales, from 1:24,000 to 1:250,000.

Summary:The Maps of Washington (State) and the Pacific Northwest consist of historic and superseded maps depicting forest resources, geology, public lands and land use, hydroelectric projects, highways, and railroads in Washington and the Pacific Northwest region. The regional maps include Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and, in some cases, California and Wyoming.

Summary:The Oregon Department of Forestry Maps consist of maps produced by the Department, primarily to support it's role in fire protection for private, state, and federal forests in Oregon. The collection include maps of forest protection districts and fireman's maps. Of special note is a 1914 map of the full state depicting areas with merchantable timber and other forest lands.

Summary:The Oregon Drainage Basin Maps include statewide maps as well as maps for individual basins. The maps define basin boundaries and depict the rivers and streams within each basin (or watershed). Land use maps for several of the basins are also part of the collection.

Summary:The Oregon State University Campus Maps document the development of the Oregon State campus from the 1890s through the 1990s. The collection includes campus guides and visitor maps; detailed surveys; campus plans; and maps showing buildings, roads, and walkways. The inital land for the current Oregon State University campus in Corvallis, Oregon, was purchased in 1871.
