Summary:Henry Misselwitz (1900 - ?) became a reporter and foreign correspondent, was the author of three books on his experiences in the Far East, and promoted the establishment of a foreign service training center for U.S. diplomats. The collection contains correspondence regarding the proposed Academy of Foreign Service, book manuscripts, radio scripts, newspaper columns and articles, two journals Misselwitz kept while travelling in China, and a general merchandise account book belonging to a Mrs. Carolyn Converse Misselwitz.
