The University of Oregon Center for the Sociological Study of Women (CSSW) began in 1973, and after a $3.5 million endowment, the CSSW grew to become the much larger Center for the Study of Women in Society (CSWS). The Jack Eyerly collection consists of seven decades of notes, correspondence, artists' papers, gallery showcards, posters, artworks, sketchbooks, and other assorted pieces of historical material exchanged between Eyerly and artists from across the Northwest and beyond. Over 200 artists are represented in the collection.
