Summary:Northwest Public Power Association (NWPPA) is a not for profit trade association comprising public/people's utility districts, electric cooperatives, municipalities and crown corporations in the Western U.S. and Canada. The collection (1948-1963) consists of correspondence, material regarding power and service plans of electric cooperatives, application and hearing material for the Mountain Sheep-Pleasant Valley hydro-electric project on the Middle Snake River, and a file regarding the Oregon Electric Consumers council.
