Carroll L. Zimmerman was born in Dayton, Ohio, on June 2, 1911. His autobiography, "Amusement Confidential," contains essays and anecdotes written over the course of his life. It was published by Whitehall Press in 1978. He died in Montgomery, Ohio on June 21, 1988.
