Biographical NoteReturn to Top

Berman was born in 1919 in Czechoslovakia. She grew up in Uzharod (which became part of Russian Carpathia after 1938). During WWII, she was in a work/death camp in Stutthof and was an Auschwitz survivor. She later married Nicholas Berman.
