Tape-recorded interview conducted by Jeannette Schrieber on August 5, 1975 as part of a golden anniversary spotlight. The interview covers the years 1900-1950.
Mrs. Zimmerman has been a member of the Council of Jewish women since 1947. She gives a detailed account of the Job Corps for Girls of which she was Director. She also worked for Call for Action and was the art director at the Kline-Galland Home for 9 years. She discusses Women in Community Services, commenting that Catholic, Protestant, Jewish and Black women worked together. She was also chairman of the Golden Age Club.
