George W. Welker (1866-1930) is listed in the Seattle City Directory as "mason," "tile setter," and "mantel builder" from 1891 until his death in 1930. In 1893 he was working for Galt Bros. & Co., located at the Grand Pacific Hotel building, 1115-1117 1st Ave., Seattle.
