Public officer of Seattle, Washington.

Alfred R. Rochester was born in 1895. Rochester served as State Director of the U.S. National Emergency Council, 1938-39; State Director of the U.S. Office of Government Reports, 1939-42; Seattle City Councilman, 1944-56; Executive Director of the Washington World's Fair Commission, 1959-62. He died in 1989.
