Tape recorded interview conducted by Howard Droker on 26 May, 10 Jun and 15 Jun 1982.
Mrs. Schwabacher recalls her first impressions of Seattle in 1931, which she regarded as a large town, and its Jewish community. She describes her husband and Nathan Eckstein in some detail and talks briefly about the family business and social life. She remembers Rabbi Samuel Koch and the anti-Zionist issue in the community. Lastly, she analyzes her daughter's acceptance of Christian Science.
