Harlan Leo Trumbull was an early Northwest climber who made the first ascent of the south peak of the Brothers in 1912, along with O. P. Cockerill, Ira Collyer, Joe Daniells, William Dehn, Harold Fish, Ed Goldsmith, and Chas Strong.
