George Day, born August 19, 1880 in Eugene, Oregon, and Hallie Day, born June 4, 1884 in Walla Walla, Washington, married circa 1920 in Walla Walla. George worked as the Walla Walla postmaster general, as well as the president of Gardener and Company, a mercantile agency. Hallie was a traveller and a socialite, frequently travelling across and out of the country in addition to organizing social events for assorted Walla Walla women's clubs. George died on July 16, 1946, at the age of 55, and Hallie died December 29, 1983, at the age of 99.
