Alexis Kelner is an author and a backcountry skiing enthusiast who was heavily involved with the Wasatch Mountain Club. He has an award named after him called the “Alexis Kelner Conservation award” that is presented through the Wasatch Mountain Club.

Kelner and David Hanscom co-wrote the book "Wasatch Tours," a series of volumes detailing ski touring in the Wasatch Mountains
