Biographical NoteReturn to Top

John H. Jensen (1916-2003) lived in Shanghai, China for three years in the early 1930s. His father, Ludolf F. Jensen, was stationed there as a Marine to protect Americans who were part of the International Settlement of Shanghai. Jensen and his parents took the opportunity to tour during their stay in China. The postcards and photographs in the collection are from their military and tourist activities.
