The Utah Newspaper Project collection (1869-1985) consists of photocopies from newspaper annuals and directories that were used in this statewide project. Many libraries throughout Utah, including the University of Utah's Marriott Library, worked together to microfilm all available Utah newspapers within a specific time frame. Microfilm copies, as well as copies of resources used, were then sent to all participating libraries.
