Biographical NoteReturn to Top
Corydon Addison Bushnell produced the photographs in this collection. Born in Eugene, Oregon in 1866, to Jemias Melvina and John Corydon Bushnell. Corydon married Miss Harriet J. Herron in Oregon. A few years later they moved to Seattle where he established the Bushnell Studio in 1902 with E. E. James. Mr. Bushnell worked as a photographer in Seattle until about 1936. He died in Seattle on June 10, 1941.
Pearl Riggs Crouch wrote the accompanying poetry. She is better known for her book Dry Land Prairie published in 1940.

Four sheets of grey mould-made paper with letterpress printed poems in two columns along outside edges, original photographs collaged in center of page. Top edge of each sheet with two round holes laced through with ribbon creating binding.
