Biographical NoteReturn to Top
Elana Shippen was born in Abadan, Iran in 1960. She left Iran in 1978, relocating with relatives in Mercer Island. She attended the University of Washington from 1979-1983, studying mechanical engineering, and later worked at Boeing, beginning in 1986.
