The pew rentals are for seats in Bikur Cholim synagogue by L.A. Friedman's grandfather, Jacob Friedman. The clipping from "The Transcript" gives historical background on the Hebrew Ladies Free Loan, the first president of which was L.A. Friedman's grandmother.
Cub Scout program from March 31, 1943 along with Friedman's reminiscences of the meeting as Cub Master.
