Mr. Bridge talks about his family history, his life in Seattle, his family's jewelry business and his service for the U.S. Navy during World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam War. He talks about his time at the University of Washington, meeting his wife Shirley, and beginning work with his father at Ben Bridge Jewelers. Mr Bridge describes his community involvement with such organizations as the Downtown Seattle Association, and the Community Chest, the predecessor to United Way.
