Scope and Content: Correspondence, memoranda, reports, grant proposals, and contracts; 1977-1991. This material breaks down into three subgroups: General files, labeled "DORME" for Division of Research in Medical Education, that document the administrative activities of the office; International files relating to attempts by the Division to establish international programs in medical education; and KAU or King Abdulaziz University at Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, that document the negotiations between the U.W. and KAU to establish an exchange program, primarily of faculty but later of students. This material documents the years 1977-1991 during which time Charles W. Dohner served as director.
