Historical NoteReturn to Top
Founded in 1971, the Association for Women in Science "advocates on behalf of women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) to achieve business growth, social change, and innovation." Faculty at USU established a local chapter during fall 1990, the subject of this collection.
Content DescriptionReturn to Top
AWIS member and USU librarian Betty Rozum deposited the collection with University Archives in 2017. Among other things, the collection consists of membership rolls, historical materials, minutes and conference presentations, maintained in original order. The collection also includes a short run of the national AWIS Magazine.
