Charles F. Keyes is an Emeritus Professor of Anthropology and International Studies at the University of Washington, Seattle. His fields of interest include political economy, religion, social anthropology, and southeast Asian studies. Throughout his career he has published a variety of books, articles, and reviews. He has conducted field research in Thailand, Laos, and Vietnam.

2001-2.1-72: Set of 33 5" reels containing field recordings (originally numbered 1-33) (reel 22 unplayable, not copied to cd); 3 5" fieldnote reels; and 8 5" unnumbered reels.

Field notebooks copied include 1 small yellow/orange notebook containing original 1967 tape notes and 1 large notebook containing "Field Notes 1967-1968 - Tape Listings and Transcriptions" for tapes 1-33 (typed documentation).

Collection consists of: 33 numbered reels (2001-2.1-53); 3 fieldnote reels (2001-2.54-60); 8 unnumbered reels (2001-2.61-72)

All recordings are half-track mono, 5" reels, 3 3/4 ips unless otherwise noted
