Architect and inventor, of Seattle, Wash.; active in 1910s and 1920s. Edward T. Osborn, architect and inventor, worked actively in Seattle and the Pacific Northwest between 1910-1930. The buildings and interiors he designed, as represented by these papers, display his ability to move easily between different architectural periods, whether Tudor, Gothic or Renaissance. These papers also reflect Osborn's ingenuity in designing bathtub related inventions, and new construction techniques.
