Biographical NoteReturn to Top
Kate Speizer is a rabbi at Temple de Hirsch Sinai working in Adult Engagement and Endless Opportunities in Bellevue and Seattle, Washington. She was born on May 29, 1976 in Santa Clara, California and grew up in Los Gatos, California where she and her family were founding members of the Shir Hidash reform congregation. She attended college at the University of Arizona and studied marketing at the Eller School. She worked briefly in the technology field before pursuing rabbinical training at Hebrew Union College. She served at Cornell University as the first female rabbi before moving to Seattle to serve at Temple de Hirsch Sinai.
