United States Spruce Production Corporation was incorporated in Washington, on August 19, 1918.

The production of Spruce lumber for war planes had previously begun in 1917, under the command of army captain Brice Disque. Towards the end of World War I, the company incorporated. The company continued through WWII, and afterwards.

The records in this collection are from the files of the secretary, G. R. Sweetser.

The collection consists of three volumes that contain minutes, correspondence, stock share distribution, articles of incorporation, lumber company and mill information, resignations, salaries, and other financial records. Meeting minutes include stockholders meetings, Board of Trustees meetings, and the first meeting of the incorporators.

Volume one covers August 21, 1918 - February 25, 1925; volume two covers March 30, 1925 - July 7, 1939; and volume three covers January 16, 1940 - November 12, 1946.
