The interview covers Herman Sarkowsky's origins in Germany, his immigration to the United States, and his family's relocation to Seattle. The body of the interview deals with Sarkowsky's entry into the construction business, first in Oakland, then in Tacoma and Seattle, and then it moves to the creation of his Venture Capital business. He also comments about his role in the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle and the AIPAC of which he is a board member. He closes with comments about his wife, Faye, and her influence on his activities.
