Biographical NoteReturn to Top

Rosalie Sidell Steinbrecher (1926-2007) was a social worker at the University of Washington and at Jewish Family Service. She was valedictorian of the Garfield High School class of 1944 and graduated from the University of Washington in 1948 as a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She and her husband Kurt were long-time members of Bikur Cholim Congregation, where Kurt conducted the synagogue choir.
