Historical NoteReturn to Top

The College Elementary School was created when the old Edison School (Washington State Normal School Training School) was relocated to a new building in 1939. In 1963, the school was renamed the Amanda Hebeler Elementary School (Washington Center for Early Childhood Education). The school was closed in the spring of 1981 after budget constraints declared it expendable.
