"Cheyenne Autumn" was a film that had its premiere in Cheyenne, Wyoming. This film was John Ford's last western film. It presented a more sympathetic view of Indians than his previous westerns. The film was later featured at the Nebraska Literature Festival (1993), and the Cheyenne Western Film Festival (2000).
