Biographical NoteReturn to Top

Professor Bostetter joined the University of Washington faculty is 1940, having received his Ph.D. at Princeton in 1938; M.A., Princeton, 1937; A.B., Franklin and Marshall, 1935. From 1959 until his death, 16 April 1973, he served as Professor of English. He specialized in research on Coleridge, Byron, Wordsworth, Shelley, and the literature of that period.
