Resilience is Bailey's most valued quality in herself and others. She wanted to get a tattoo that meant something to her, and as a swimmer for 15 years; the wave symbolizes never-ending courage and fight. Resilience is a reminder that no matter what happens in life she will get back up and continue on.

P01_2018_075_02: Half sleeve tattoo
Wiesendanger, Devyn
1.0 photographic print(s)
The tattoo is the archangel Michael protecting two Cherubs, who are supposed to represent his brother, from demons. Peter got this tattoo when he was 46, he thought long and hard about what he wanted and knew that he wanted to portray protection of his children. He is Catholic and thought that there was no better way than to show his religions and his love for his children in one tattoo.
