Biographical NoteReturn to Top

Fayette Florent Krause was born in 1942. Krause held the presidency and other offices in the Seattle Audubon Society. He has been Washington Land Steward for the Nature Conservancy since 1979. He was also a board member of the Washington Environmental Council (1976-1978), Friends of Discovery Park, Seattle Parks and Recreation Department Advisory Committee on Discovery Park, and a member of the Washington State Parks and Recreation Planning Task Force on Leadbetter State Park. He also chaired Citizens For Referendum 33, which was approved by Washington voters in 1973 and provided the funds for the non-game animal program operated by the State Department of Game.
