J. Frank Wright was a boatman for Norman Nevills in the 1940s. He was later in charge of boats and boating for the University of Utah/Museum of Northern Arizona salvage surveys of Glen Canyon in the late 1950s and early 1960s. The collection contains images of Glen Canyon and southern Utah taken by J. Frank Wright.
