Biographical NoteReturn to Top
Susan Pinney Yeomans Angell was born May 12, 1832, in Rome, New York, and died on December 27, 1928. At age 6, she went to Iowa with her family in a covered wagon. She married Thomas Angell in 1846 and came west with him in a covered wagon in 1852. After settling in The Dalles, she moved to Portland in 1924.
