Biographical NoteReturn to Top
In 1909, an "Agreement to associate for the purpose of forming a corporation" was entered by five male members of the University of Washington faculty. The corporation was to be called The Faculty Men's Club. A similar club was later formed by female faculty members called The Faculty Women's Club. In 1972, the two clubs merged under the name "The Faculty Club of the University of Washington".
