The collection contains photographs taken by Michael Loop of historic buildings in Portland, Oregon, and vicinity, 2000-2002. Included are images depicting the demolition of the Henry Weinhard brewery in downtown Portland and the interior of the Star Theater. Also included are copies of images collected by Loop that date from 1895 and depict scenes and people in the Portland area, such as construction of the Lewis and Clark Centennial Exposition in 1905 and a farm near Lyle, Washington.
