Biographical NoteReturn to Top
Born in 1949, Senn grew up in Chicago, moving to Seattle in 1984. She served as counsel to the Joint Select Committee on Telecommunications at the Washington State Legislature and in 1992 was elected State Insurance Commissioner. As SIC, she helped establish the International Commission of Holocaust-Era Insurance Companies.

2 audiocassettes and 1 transcript from interview conducted December 24, 2003 and February 12, 2004 with Stephen Adler. Senn discusses her family history in eastern Europe and Chicago, her move to Seattle, and her service as State Insurance Commissioner. She also explains her role in the establishment of the International Commission of Holocaust-Era Insurance Companies which helped to identify, settle, and pay individual Holocaust era insurance claims.
