Biographical NoteReturn to Top

Joe Woolfe was a jeweler who came to Seattle in 1941 from Chicago. He was born in Manchester, England and raised in Glasgow, Scotland until he was 21. Woolfe was involved in nearly every Jewish organization in Seattle at one time, serving on the Board of the Federated Fund and Council, as a member of the Anti-Defamation League Board, as president of B'Nai B'rith, and of the American Zionist Council.
