Biographical NoteReturn to Top

George Gunn was born in 1891. He was active in various athletic, civic, and political organizations including the Republican Party (1919-62), the Century 21 Exposition (1961-62), the Save the Stadium Committee (1967-68), National Distribution Council of U.S. Commerce Department (1946-1951), Washington Athletic Club, and Washington State Industrial Development Committee (1950-1951) as well as in support of University of Washington athletics. He died in 1975.
