Historical NoteReturn to Top

The International Services Office provides specialized, culturally-sensitive counseling and federally regulated technical support to meet the extraordinary needs of students and temporary academic appointees from other countries. The Office also provides the necessary liaison and coordination between University academic and administrative offices and with local, federal, and international governmental and non-governmental agencies and organizations to insure compliance with laws and procedures necessary for foreign nationals to facilitate maintenance of legal status. The Office offers a broad range of services, such as administering the University's F-1 Student and J-1 Exchange Visitor programs, and monitoring University compliance with the federal immigration laws governing these programs and preparing H-1B Temporary Worker and Permanent Residence petitions on behalf of the University.
