This installment was deposited by Deborah Illman at the time she left her position as Editor and Production Manager of "Puget Sound Chemist", the newsletter of Puget Sound Section. The material is chiefly about production of the newsletter, arrangements for advertising, etc. Older files are from her predecessors.

Accession includes papers of Gary A. Zimmerman, Seattle University, from his activities as academic news editor of Puget Sound Section's magazine, "Puget Sound Chemist"; and from his activities as Councilor of the Section. Duties of Councilor include attendance at conventions and participation in the Section's Executive Committee.

Historical feature is a photocopy of 1909 charter, which is the sole proof held by the parent organization that Puget Sound Section was founded in 1909. Minutes, 1983-1984, are of Executive Committee.
