Processing Note
Clippings without direct relevance to University of Washington or the Pacific Northwest were discarded. These included those marked "higher education," "higher education athletics," "higher education tuition and enrollment," and "private colleges." Clippings retained include selections from the "information highway." These were added to Pacific Northwest Collection's pamphlet files under headings of Washington (State) --Industries and Resources -- Computer, Computer Software and Internet; PNW -- Telephones; and Seattle (Wash.) -- Radio and Television. The remaining clippings are labeled as University of Washington - General. These will be accessioned as a small collection.
