Biographical NoteReturn to Top
Purdy, a graduate of Westminster College (1950) and the University of Utah (1951), was a high school teacher from 1951-1967 before he was appointed headmaster of Rowland Hall. After his retirement in 1981, Purdy wrote articles and book reviews including some for the Utah Historical Quarterly. Also included in the collection is his paper, "An Outline of the History of the Flaming Gorge Area."
