Biographical NoteReturn to Top

Wade Andrews was born in 1916 in Ogden Utah and died in 2000 in Logan Utah. He received bachelors and Masters Degrees at USU and a Doctorate at Michigan State. He taught at Ohio State and served with the department of agriculture at Fort Collins before he came to USU as the director of the Institute for social science research and natural resources. He was a leading expert on natural resource policy. He was also the president of the western social science association, president of the rural sociological society, as well as a consultant worldwide on water resource issues.
