Dr. Ruben Dúran (1924- ), was a Professor for the Department of Plant Pathology at Washington State University from 1958 to 1959 and then again from 1961 to 1989, and currently serves as a Professor Emeritus. Dr. Dúran primarily taught general mycology, lower fungi, and basidiomycetes. Dr. Ruben Dúran is a graduate of WSU.
