- The Alpine Training School scrapbook (1960-1969) contains information on ski racing and the School. The Alpine Training School was developed in the 1960s by Marv Melville, Al Hansen and Bill Spencer to provide competent instruction for all the school members; to develop young competitors interested in qualifying for national and international meets; to provide guidance and supervision for members at all organized functions; to provide traveling expenses to local, divisional and national events, and mainly to get young people in good physical conditions to prepare for the ski season.
